Senior Industrial Controls Engineer Needed
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m kicking off a series of manufacturing-plant automation upgrades and I need a seasoned controls engineer who can run each project from the first I/O list through customer hand-over. You’ll design, program, and optimise complete PLC, SCADA and HMI architectures, keep schedules and costs on track, and be the face of technical support for the plant team once we go live.
What the work looks like
• Project scope reviews with our operators and maintenance crew
• Writing and testing PLC logic, building SCADA dashboards and HMI screens, then carrying that code through FAT, SAT and on-site commissioning
• Coordinating panel builders, electricians and any specialty subcontractors while managing the overall timeline and spend
• Driving QA/QC for every drawing set, software revision and turnover package
• Training production and maintenance staff so they can run confidently without us
Key deliverables
1. Functional Design Specification and updated as-built documentation
2. Tested PLC programme, SCADA configuration and HMI graphics ready for production
3. Commissioning report with punch-list closed and operator sign-off
4. Training materials and recorded walk-through session
