Remote Process Control Supervisor

Our plant runs a continuous wet-to-dry production line that combines wet milling, a decanter centrifuge, a fluidized bed dryer, dry milling and pneumatic transfer into bulk storage. I grant secure remote access to the SCADA/PLC interface and rely on you to act as an extra set of eyes during each shift. Your main focus is guiding the on-site operators in real time: confirming critical steps, walking them through alarms and proposing fine-tuned setting changes before issues escalate.

Hands-on familiarity with a decanter centrifuge is essential, as that stage dictates the moisture profile for every downstream unit. Comfortable navigation of typical control platforms, alarm hierarchies and trend charts is expected so that advice comes quickly and in language the floor team understands. Wet milling, drying and pneumatic conveying knowledge is welcome, yet secondary to confident centrifuge decision-making.

Deliverables each shift
• Live operator guidance via voice or chat while connected to the control system
• Immediate alarm response suggestions with rationale
• A concise log summarising actions taken, set-point tweaks and any follow-up recommendations
