PLC Lead-Lag Pump Cascade Logic
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a clean, well-commented ladder logic program that will run a cascading system for water-distribution pumps. The installation has two configurations—one bank of three pumps and another bank of two—and both must follow a lead-lag sequence so demand is met efficiently while equalising pump run-hours.
The code must sit on a standard PLC platform (let me know the brand you prefer, I can supply the exact model once we start) and be ready to drop into my existing project. Solid rung-by-rung documentation is important because the local operators will maintain it going forward.
Deliverables:
• Ladder logic file for the 3-pump cascade
• Ladder logic file for the 2-pump cascade
• Commented I/O list and tag map
• Brief commissioning guide outlining parameter tweaks, force-run checks and hand/auto switchover test
I’ll simulate the files in my test rack first, so please build in fault-handling and clear status bits—pump healthy, VFD ready, over-temperature, low suction, etc.—to make that process smooth.
If you have recent water-utility or booster-station experience, even better. Let’s get this logic running reliably and on schedule.
