PLC Installation, Commissioning and Troubleshooting

Site Execution & Commissioning
• Lead PLC system installation, wiring verification, and commissioning at site.
• Perform loop checking, I/O testing, and functional validation.
• Ensure smooth integration of PLC with SCADA, HMI, drives, and third-party systems.
Programming & Troubleshooting
• Modify and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens / Allen-Bradley etc.).
• Diagnose and resolve field issues under tight timelines.
• Optimize control logic and improve system performance.
Project Coordination
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure timely completion of site activities as per project schedule.
• Provide technical support during project lifecycle.
Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC systems:
o Siemens (S7-300/400/1500, TIA Portal)
o Any other major PLC platforms
• Good knowledge of:
o SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, etc.)
o Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
o VFDs, servo drives, instrumentation systems
• Ability to read electrical drawings (schematics, P&ID)
Site Skills
• Experience in handling multiple site activities
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments
