The purpose of this assignment is to document the interaction methodologies of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEPs) systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Schneider Automation Server (ASP), and Schneider Electric Building Management System (BMS EcoStruxure). This documentation will serve as a guide to understanding communication protocols, system integration, and basic configurations for each technology.
Communication with Schneider Automation Server (ASP)
• Identify the communication protocol used (e.g., Modbus, BACnet IP, RS-485).
• Explain how the ASP interacts with each MEP device and collects data, monitors status, or controls operations.
• Provide a simple configuration example for an ASP that includes device addressing, data point mapping, or protocol setup.
