Onsite PLC Programmer for Sawmills

Immediate need of an experienced PLC programmer for ONSITE controls support in Southern Mississippi for commissioning a new production plant. Experience in sawmill and papermill facilities. The ideal candidate should have expertise with Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley systems, specifically FactoryTalk View Studio and Studio 5000. The role involves designing and developing control systems, troubleshooting and maintenance, and integrating with existing systems.

Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in FactoryTalk View and Studio 5000
- Must have Studio 5000 license and ability to program from your own laptop.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley systems
- Ability to design and develop control systems
- Skilled in troubleshooting and maintenance
- Expertise in integrating new systems with existing infrastructure
- Ability to work in a hot/humid environment in stressful and demanding conditions.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with material handling systems in sawmills or papermills
- Knowledge of processing and production lines in the industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, safely and collaboratively on-site
