Micrologix 850 PLC & SCADA Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need help with a small water-treatment project taken from “blank slate” to a fully working pair of files: a CCW PLC program and a Fernhill SCADA project. IOs are 46 IOs, including 9AI.
Basically this is population and setup based on available libraries for PLC and SCADA.
PLC work
• Start with my compiled I/O list and make sure every point is declared, described and addressed correctly in Connected Components Workbench.
• Drop in the predefined function blocks from my library, wiring them so the logic mirrors the P&ID. Only minor tweaks should be needed; no ground-up coding.
• Produce a clean, organised CCW file that I can load straight into the physical controller.
SCADA work
• Using Fernhill SCADA Developer (free version is fine), build a single main overview page that reuses my existing graphic library. Keep the look consistent with the rest of the plant.
- Populate and update popoups for sensors and acutators
• Import and map all PLC tags, then confirm live values by connecting to a remote Micrologic 850 that I will expose over VPN.
• Add the set-point screens, trends and the selected alarm tags already defined in the library.
Acceptance
I will consider the job done when:
1. The CCW project downloads without errors and every I/O bit toggles correctly from the online watch table.
2. The Fernhill project shows real-time data and all mapped points change as I force them from the PLC.
3. Alarms, trends and set-point edits behave exactly as in the template library.
Send me the final CCW file, the Fernhill .fhproj file and a short read-me describing any deviations from the original library. A brief remote hand-over session to prove functionality will wrap things up.
