Manufacturing PLC Optimization & Upgrades ( Bangalore Only - On-Site Required)
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m looking for a seasoned PLC engineer who can jump straight into a live production environment and refine roughly ten controllers already in service. The units span Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider and possibly Mitsubishi hardware, so hands-on experience with at least two of those platforms is essential; please highlight the exact models and editors you know best (TIA Portal, Step 7, RSLogix/Studio 5000, EcoStruxure, GX Works, etc.).
The plant team’s current pain points are troubleshooting and custom modifications. Cycle times have crept up, a few interlocks mis-fire under certain conditions, and new product variants require extra routines. I’ll provide the existing programs and wiring diagrams; you’ll analyse the code, suggest improvements, then implement and test them without disrupting production.
Key deliverables
• Logic enhancement: add new functions, streamline existing rungs, and squash the lingering bugs
• Performance tuning: tighten scan times, optimise PID loops and comms overheads
• Comprehensive documentation: fully commented code, revised I/O lists, version-controlled backups
• Support hand-over: short run-time monitoring period, fault-finding guide, and remote assistance for start-up
Acceptance is met once each PLC meets its target cycle time, alarms clear on first pass, and updated docs are signed off by the maintenance lead.
