Kinco MK070E-33DT HMI + PLC Programming for Tank Level Control with VSD
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
I am looking for an experienced industrial automation engineer to develop a complete HMI and PLC solution for a tank level control system using a Kinco MK070E-33DT (HMI + PLC combo unit).
The system includes an ultrasonic level sensor, a 4–20mA level transmitter, and a Vacon 20 variable speed drive.
System Requirements:
The system must automatically control a pump based on tank level and display live values on the HMI.
Inputs:
Ultrasonic sensor (KEJUN CS501)
Outputs: RS485, 4–20mA, and 2 relay outputs
Use relay outputs for HIGH and LOW level detection
Level & Temperature Sensor (FXW-SWPSG)
4–20mA analog output
Tank range: 0 to 1.2 meters
Outputs:
Vacon 20 VSD
Digital RUN/STOP control
Analog speed reference (0–10V or 4–20mA depending on configuration)
Control Logic Required:
If LOW level is detected → start pump
If HIGH level is detected → stop pump
Use hysteresis (low/high relays) to prevent rapid switching
Include Auto and Manual modes:
Auto: controlled by sensors
Manual: operator start/stop from HMI
HMI Requirements (Kinco DTools):
Clean, user-friendly screen design
Display:
Tank level (meters and %)
Raw analog input value
Pump running status
High level / Low level status
Fault indication
Controls:
Auto / Manual selection
Start / Stop buttons
Reset button
Speed setpoint input (%)
PLC Requirements (KincoBuilder):
Full ladder logic program including:
Input mapping (digital + analog)
Auto/Manual control logic
Pump start/stop latch logic
Analog scaling (4–20mA → 0–1.2m and %)
Analog output scaling for VSD speed
Basic fault handling
Deliverables:
KincoBuilder PLC project file
Kinco DTools HMI project file
IO list and tag mapping
Basic documentation explaining:
How the system works
How to adjust scaling values
How to modify setpoints
