Industrial IoT Engineer Required – PLC Data Logging & Edge Integration (280 Machines, Fast Deployment)
**Project Overview:**
We are executing a large-scale Industrial IoT deployment involving **Mitsubishi PLCs (FX3GA series) with GT2310 HMI**.
The objective is to build a **scalable, low-latency data logging system** without modifying existing PLC logic.
Deployment will be executed in two phases:
• Pilot: 20 machines
• Full Scale: 280 machines
We are targeting a **fast-track execution timeline of 4–5 weeks using parallel teams**.

**Scope of Work:**
You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation:
1. **PLC / HMI Data Extraction**
* Configure HMI relay (GOT Gateway / FTP)
* Map PLC registers (D, M, T, C)
2. **Edge Gateway Setup**
* Linux-based gateway configuration
* Data acquisition + buffering
3. **Communication Layer**
* MQTT over TLS (QoS 1)
* Reliable data transfer + backfill
4. **Backend Integration**
* MQTT broker + InfluxDB
* Data ingestion pipeline
5. **Validation**
* <2 sec latency
* Zero data loss
* Stable PLC performance

**Execution Model:**
* Work will be executed via **parallel deployment teams (pods)**
* Each engineer will handle assigned machine batches
* Standardized deployment process will be followed

**On-Site Requirement (Important):**
* Part of the work requires **on-site presence in Gujarat (India)**
* On-site tasks include:
* HMI/PLC access & configuration
* Gateway installation
* Machine-level validation
* Remaining work (backend, dashboards, debugging) will be remote

* 3+ years in Industrial IoT / Embedded / PLC integration
* Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs OR similar industrial systems
* Strong understanding of:
* MQTT, networking, TLS
* Linux-based edge systems
* Data pipelines

* HMI-based data extraction (GOT / similar)
* Large-scale deployments (50+ machines)
* InfluxDB + Grafana
