Design & Development of Redundant PLC/SCADA System (≥5,000 Tags)
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a complete, production-ready automation platform built around Siemens PLCs and a proven SCADA package. The installation must handle at least 5,000 real-time tags from day one and remain scalable. High availability is critical, so the SCADA layer should run on a redundant server pair with automatic fail-over for alarming, trending and historian functions.
On the field side we will exchange data over Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet/IP; your design should keep scan rates tight even when the system is under load. Along with the core PLC logic and SCADA graphics, I expect alarm rationalisation, trend configuration, and a well-structured tag database.
The job is not finished until we have:
• Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test successfully signed off
• Complete documentation set—IO list, cause & effect, network drawings, commented code, operator manuals
• Training delivered to maintenance and operations staff
If you have hands-on experience commissioning redundant Siemens + SCADA architectures of this size, I’m ready to review your plan and schedule.
