plc project to replace microcontroller

We are currently using a microcontroller with custom made pcbs. I want to replace it with a plc to ensure changes can be quickly accommodated to the functionality.
Operations:
scan barcode
press two push down to bring the pneumatic down
lock
placing of screws - detected through a sensor
check short
check voltage
give pass/fail
discharge capacitor
unlock
lift the cylinder up
All data to be logged in csv / excel on the computer
GUI to show the values of testing.
