iFIX 5.9 SCADA Continuation
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Our iFIX 5.9 application for a Siemens S7-1200 line is partly built but not yet running in production. I need an experienced iFIX developer to open the existing project, finish the configuration, and publish a clean, tested runtime.
Current status
• PLC tags are already mapped and online in the development database.
• Screens are rough drafts only.
• I keep partial documentation and screenshots of the tag blocks—enough to get you oriented, but you will still need to reverse-read some logic.
Scope of work
– Complete and refine alarm management, including classification, priorities, and on-screen acknowledgment dialogue, then tie these to email/SMS notifications.
– Enable reliable data logging and historical trending for all key process tags, using native iFIX collectors and OPC UA to the S7-1200. Trends must auto-scale and allow ad-hoc zooming in runtime.
– Re-work the operator interface: consistent color palette, clear navigation, and an overview/ drill-down structure. All pictures must compile without errors and respect our 1920×1080 HMI resolution.
– Compile the runtime, test on a simulated PLC first, then live on the plant network.
Deliverables
1. Updated iFIX 5.9 project files (.pdb, .grf, .mdb).
2. Exported alarm and historical tag lists in CSV.
3. A short runbook (PDF) explaining deployment, backup, and how to add new tags.
4. Remote hand-over session to verify alarms, trends, and UI together on the live S7-1200.
Acceptance criteria
• All configured alarms trigger, log, and notify within 2 seconds.
• Historical data persists for at least 30 days and plots without gaps.
• No compile errors; CPU load on the SCADA PC stays below 40 %.
• Operators confirm the interface is intuitive during the hand-over walkthrough.
Tools in use: iFIX 5.9, OPC UA, Siemens TIA Portal (read-only for tag reference).
If this matches your skill set and you can start quickly, let’s talk so I can share the current project and documentation archive.
