I live in Addington highlands township. I own approx 475 acres of land. I have 6 Children who are all born and raised in the township and would like to build homes I would like to give each of them a building lot,. I am also trying to sell my existing home. And build something much smaller. So in total I am trying to make 8 lots. I have been told by the township that I am only entitled to 1 severance if any. And that my only way is to apply for a subdivision. If this is the way I have to go then so be it. I would like to hire a planner to make sure everything is done right from my end before I submit it the application.
