Pixel Rooftop Greenhouse Artist
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hello! I'm looking for a talented pixel artist to create a top-down rooftop greenhouse environment in the art style of Stardew Valley.
Firstly My budget is 250$
Key Details:
Perspective: Top-down (orthographic, like in Stardew Valley)
Style: Wholesome, cozy, colorful — heavily inspired by Stardew Valley
Tile Size: 32x32 pixels
Scope: A small rooftop greenhouse environment including:
Greenhouse structure (roof can be partially open or stylized)
Raised garden beds or plant plots
Storage elements (boxes, barrels, etc.)
Decorative elements (vines, watering cans, tools, lights, etc.)
Rooftop surrounding visuals (railings, pots, pipes, AC units, etc.)
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with farming sim games
Understanding of tile-based environments and seamless tile design
Able to deliver assets in a structured spritesheet (preferably PNG)
This job may lead to more work:
This is part of a larger pixel art farming game, so a successful collaboration could turn into ongoing work
I’d like the rooftop greenhouse environment to feel alive, functional, and cozy — something that fits naturally within a farming sim world. Key elements include:
Greenhouse Structure:
A small to medium-sized glass structure with visible framework. Roof can be open, partially transparent, or artistically cut to show the inside. Brick or wood base preferred.
Raised Garden Beds or Planters:
Plots with visible soil or crops in various stages (sprouting, growing, harvest-ready).
Decorative Foliage:
Hanging plants, wall vines, potted herbs, climbing tomatoes, etc.
Storage Items:
Wooden crates, barrels, toolboxes, compost bins, or shelves with gardening supplies.
Functional Props:
Watering cans, a hose, garden tools, a small sink, seed bags.
Rooftop Details:
Pipes, ventilation, solar panels, railings, or AC units — to sell the idea that it’s on a rooftop in a semi-urban setting.
Lighting Elements:
String lights, small lanterns, or warm lamps for cozy ambiance (especially good for nighttime versions later).
Small Personal Touches (Optional):
A bench or chair, a notebook, boots by the door, maybe even a lazy cat or bird nest to add charm.
