Aura Pixel UI Design

Job ID: 40272450

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I’m shaping Aura, a pocket-sized companion device for kids aged five and up, and now need a designer who lives and breathes pixel art to give our operating system its unmistakable look. Over a focused 4–6-week contract you’ll set the visual language for three core areas of the OS: the safe-browsing hub, a playful game interface, and the conversational AI-buddy screen.

What the work feels like
You’ll translate our nostalgic, block-by-block aesthetic into polished, production-ready layouts, icons, micro-animations, and states. Think classic game charm mixed with modern UX clarity—accessible colours, oversized tap targets, and typography that emerging readers can handle with ease.

Key expectations
• Produce high-fidelity mock-ups and interaction flows for each of the three interfaces
• Build a reusable pixel-UI component library and concise usage guidelines so engineers can slot assets straight into code
• Deliver layered Figma (or comparable) files, export-ready sprites, and a short motion spec for transitions

Acceptance criteria
1. A master design file containing all approved screens for Safe Browsing, Game, and AI Buddy modes
2. A documented component library with colour palette, typographic scale, and sprite sheet
3. Brief hand-off video or deck walking through behaviours and accessibility notes

We’re fully remote, with a soft preference for contributors based in India to simplify time-zone overlap, but I’m open to talent anywhere. Kick-off is planned within the next few weeks; if pixel art and kid-centric UX are your playgrounds, let’s talk.
