Update an indicator - Please see attached file

Hello, I need to update an indicator with the following action:
When we have the candle closed, in column "1" a symbol ✅️ or ❌ is painted.
Do I need this symbol to be copied into column "A" only once and not filled in again until I manually put it in a state called "empty"?
The rule would be something like this:
We have column "1" empty and column "A" empty. When column "1" is filled, column "A" can be filled with the same symbol only if column "A" is empty. Once filled, it should not be filled again until it reaches the "empty" status that I will mark manually from settings.
In Configurations I need to be able to change the state of column A manually or if it is in the "empty" state, it will be changed automatically with one of the two symbols mentioned (not with "?").
