I came across your contact online and wanted to connect regarding a key requirement for my algo trading setup.
By way of introduction, I am an algorithmic trader and primarily use the TRADETRON (TT) platform to run strategies—both my own as well as those from the TT marketplace. My proprietary directional strategy has versions built around spot indices, index futures, cash stocks, stock futures, and commodity futures as underlyings, with options typically used for execution.
While TRADETRON makes it easy to launch and manage strategies, I face one critical limitation:
- Whenever I launch a new version, I prefer to front-test it for at least six months to assess robustness.
- Since TT does not provide backtesting capability, I am compelled to go through this long gestation period.
To overcome this, I am looking for a solution with two specific needs:
1. Strategy Coding in Pine Script– so I can run various versions, iterate faster, and backtest effectively.
2. Pine Script Environment Setup & Support– a robust setup for running backtests, along with continuous technical support and enhancements.
