Pinescript Expert for Visual Cycle Creation -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a Pinescript professional to help me create a unique, non-duplicate visual cycle in the market. This cycle should be represented using color-coded markers (these are already built), which will illustrate custom indicators.
As you can see in the script, there are sequences that follow the progression from Wave 1 to Wave 3: "Wave 1 Started" or Blue Bar highlighted.
"Wave 1 Finished" (includes a Lightened Purple Bar highlighted that forms a "Bearish Divergence" with the shown line).
"Wave 2 Finished" or Orange Bar highlighted.
"Wave 3 Start Confirmed" or Gray Bar highlighted.
"Wave 3 Finished" or Yellow Bar highlighted.
Repeat Step 1.
This is the desired behavior. However, if you keep looking at the script, you’ll notice DUPLICATES, such as: Wave 1, Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 2, Wave 3 OR any variation of this. We want to clean up these duplicates (the false positives) so the cycle always progresses from Wave 1 to Wave 3 as outlined above.
I’ve attempted to fix this, but I encounter two issues:
A) Every visual signal disappears because the conditions are too restrictive.
B) Hardly any signals appear because the conditions are not strict enough.
An approach I thought would solve this is outlined in the three attached photos:
1) Once the real Wave 1 and Wave 2 are identified, the script would skip any subsequent Wave 1 if its "Start Wave 1 Blue Bar" value is less than the previous one.
2) Once a value greater than the real Wave 1 is detected, that would be classified as Wave 3.
3) After Wave 3 starts and finishes, the cycle would complete, and the process would repeat.
I’ve tried this approach before, but for some reason, it wouldn’t isolate each cycle. It kept finding the next greater "Wave 1 Start Blue Bar" value throughout the entire script, leading to a point where there was only one signal. Let me know your thoughts and how much you would charge to add this feature. Thanks!
