I want this book to get the reader thinking, to question "reality" around them. In an easy to read, accessible to everyone, format and style, easy to understand for general "bod" on street. To engender questioning rather than blind acceptance. Asking questions (and not supplying answers, because probably there aren't definitive answers available to us yet.) What is "Reality"? Subjective? (ie Postmodern ideas) Do we shape our own reality? (Phenomenological reality) Cultural? (Socially constructed "realities") What is "truth"? Are we in a simulation? A Matrix? Philosophical ideas (eg Descartes; Plato). Spiritual ideas (eg Blavatsky). Occult wisdom. Religious ideas. Findings of Quantum Physics ideas. Consciousness and the brain; Meditation; Alternate reality. The current reawakening. Searching for meaning. Needed now more than ever?
I wrote a 10,000 word paper (for a degree) on this, which could be used as a basis to work on. I envisage it expanded to approx 50-60,000 words.
