Dutch Community Forum Setup & Management

I own derechtsepen.org and want to turn the /forum section into a vibrant, Dutch-language community space. I need an experienced forum specialist to take the lead from installation right through to daily management.

You are free to choose the software you work best with—phpBB, vBulletin, Discourse, or any other modern solution—as long as it is stable, secure and straightforward for Dutch speakers. Our primary goal is discussie en gemeenschapsvorming, so an intuitive structure and welcoming appearance are essential.

What I expect from you:

• Install and configure the chosen platform on derechtsepen.org/forum
• Create clear Dutch categories, sub-forums and starter threads that invite conversation
• Set up user groups, admin and moderator ranks with sensible permissions
• Implement spam protection, basic SEO, backups and security hardening
• Provide me with an admin account and a short handbook (Dutch or English) covering routine tasks

Once everything is live, I’d like you to remain available for a brief settling-in period to handle small tweaks or questions.
