vpn extension

I am looking to create a VPN extension specifically for the Chrome browser. I do not require a content filtering system, however I do need the extension to provide multi-platform support. The extent of this support is to be discussed with the freelancer I hire. Ultimately, I am looking to create an extension that can be used across multiple platforms so that everyone has access to the secure connection it provides.
