redesign CodeIgniter website

I have a website that I want to redesign from having buttons to displaying a image and then having a tabbed menu . and make it more of a simple interface - the website is a horse management and I would like it to display the Horse for the user and then have a simple menu below to display the data as well as edit/delete functions. i would like a mor mobile feel to it.
