opencart php multistore

I am looking for help setting up a multistore system for my OpenCart PHP

index.php file to use subfolders as multistore on OC3 with PHP 8+

Description
Have used OC1.5.5.6 with multistore. Created additional folders in root..../uk/ and /us/ and /au/ etc.
so have store.com/uk/
store.com/us/ etc

In Folders eg. /UK/ etc have only 2 files index.php and .htaccess

...index.php file is
<?php
include('../index.php');
?>

.htaccess includes:
# SEO URL Settings
RewriteEngine On
# If your opencart installation does not run on the main web folder make sure you folder it does run in ie. / becomes /shop/
RewriteBase /uk/

Multistore works fine in 1.5.6.5

Have a fresh install of 3.08 - maintenance - with php 8X support.

Need files to make multistore work with sub-folders. ie /uk/us/au/ etc
