new snippet inside cs-cart email notification template system

I need to implement an snippet (payment reference number) inside cs-cart email notification template system (in twig) that outputs the content of a php variable. The development will include add the php script in the checkout environment, and register/assign the variable as a twig available variable. The php script only needs as input the order_id and order_total_amount (price) to generate the payment reference number.
