need guidance for installing php script

i create database and dbuser and installed the script , but from admin panel when i update something its not getting updated like logo favicon , Also when change to grid view it always shows list view. also it is not showing blog image preview. verification emails / password reset emails also not getting sent ...
need someone expert who is free now and work right away and fix these issues and give me problems free installation guidance.

as first project we need to setup the installation and basic functions without issues, further customisations will be as other projects.
