modify wordpress scrapping plugin and integrate api with script

It' about to modify plugin that will fetch and scrape data from a site (https://gogoanime.vc/), and sync with video php script that I got with api.
All process must run in the background so I don't have to wait for the plugin to process before posting the next set of series.
