graphing webpage interface from database

Job ID: 33786708

Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP

Graphing package, for displaying live and historical data in a web-browser format.
Requirement is for MS Windows front end graphing screen via webpage to provide trending of a series of process measurements from an extensive (live-updating) local database, holding up to several years of historical process data which also needs to be downloadable for analysis in a Excel spreadsheet format.
The graphing is for live values, i.e. with graph updating in real time as new values are received, and, also historical trends over selectable periods from hours, days, weeks and months.
There is an existing working model based upon Microsoft Sequel Server, however it is slower than needed and sometimes hangs up. But it gives a good example of the requirement, where there are currently up to 5 variables trended, with a different colour pen and axis scale for each variable in the graph. There are many alternatives to MS Sequel Server, (DBeaver, MySQL, PostgreSQL, IBM Db2, SQLite etc) and there may be other established ways to store and manage the data, since it is simple numeric values against a time date stamp. So any definable established method can be used to achieve the end result.
