fix an image scraper that was working before google changed the way images where return

scraping images for a website
a freelancer achieved an application few years ago to scap images from google and return thumbnail to choose from.the application worked for a while then stopped .it seams google changed the meta tag of returned images .I need to adjust the software to work with https://serpapi.com/ .The following was the request i posted few years ago:
"Required a php htm javascript open source system that reads 3 columns from excel file or phpmyadmin code,description and folder name fields
,displays all the records on the left frame of and html file .
When i click on any record in the list on the left the system use a google api to search for code and description in google pictures
and fetch images and display them as thumbnails ,on the right frame,to choose from .Once i doubleclick on one of the pics ,the pic will be saved to the folder named in the fieldname
and the related record on the left side turns red (if i deleted the pic from folder it will restore black color).The name of the saved file would be code.png
The sytem should display drop down option to choose size of saved or fetched pics and should give me 2 options whether i need transparent backgroung or white
also the system should give me option if i want code field only in my search or code and description or description only
Google changes the api from time to time ,so i need to be able to change easily the api or even to use third party Api easily.
Finaly i need to be able to change around in the system so proper comments are required within the scripts"
