excel spreadsheet upload to mysql database script

i have 350+ excel spreadsheets with 250 records in each file that I want to upload to my mysql database. All files have the same format and structure. Some of the files have some of the same records as other files. I need a script that can upload an individual file into the database but scan for duplicate records in the database and not upload the duplicate record. I am continually creating more excel files so I can not merge all files and delete duplicates. Scanning and deleting the duplicate record through the script is most efficient way. I want the duplicate record in the uploaded file deleted and the record in the database to remain.
