create an extension for LI

I need an extension for LI (I'm sure you can work that out) that allows me to group up individual profiles with a single click into different custom groups (use. Friends, former colleagues, hot prospects). A chrome or Firefox extension is OK and the data can be handled as you wish (locally or in a remote database). It would be helpful to be able to export the group members later (and maybe contact details). Importantly this cannot be detected by the LI servers as they block automation.
