E-commerce webhook integration with Snipcart

I have created a website for my products and am using Snipcart to integrate shopping functionality to my site. I am less experienced with backend development, and I would like some help to implement webhooks on my site to authenticate requests coming from snipcart, retrieve and calculate shipping costs at checkout, and notify me when orders are placed so I can fulfill them.
