The project consists of solving several technical issues related to the display of product information and the accessibility of the menu on mobile devices in a WordPress or e-commerce environment.
Issues to be solved:
Displaying images by collection: It is necessary to display a different image for each collection of products. Currently, the images are not correctly associated with each collection, which requires a modification in the product manager.
Problem displaying categories, colors and sizes: The categories, colors and sizes of the products are not displayed correctly in the dashboard product manager, although they exist in the database. On the back-end interface, the categories are marked "No category" despite their presence in the database. This problem will need to be corrected to ensure smooth management of product information.
Non-dropdown mobile menu: On the mobile version of the site, the menu does not drop down its content as expected. The same problem also occurs on the dashboard. This problem needs to be resolved so that the menu is accessible and functional on mobile devices.
Proposed solutions:
Associate images to collections: Check the configuration of the images of the collections and correctly link them to the products in the database. Adapt the code to display the appropriate image for each collection.
Fix the display of categories: Review and correct the logic of retrieving categories, colors and sizes in the dashboard and ensure that the information from the database is correctly reflected in the back-end.
Optimize the mobile menu: Correct the behavior of the mobile menu by using suitable responsive design solutions and ensure that the menu deploys its content as expected on smartphones.
