E-commerce Backend Development (PHP or Django, or Node.js)

Project Overview:
We are looking for an experienced developer to rebuild the backend of our e-commerce website. The frontend is already built with Next.js, and we are open to using PHP, Django, or Node.js for the backend—depending on your recommendation and experience.
This is a full-featured backend project, including an admin dashboard, complete e-commerce logic, payment integration, email handling, and multilingual support.

Key Requirements
1. Hosting & Tech Stack
* Hosting: Ubuntu-based dedicated server is already configured
* Database: Prefer MongoDB, but open to suggestions
* Backend Language: PHP, Django, or Node.js
* Architecture: Should integrate cleanly with our existing Next.js frontend
2. Features & Modules
*Admin Dashboard (To be developed)
* Clean, modern UI (Material UI, Ant Design, or custom)
* Multilingual Support:
* The site is available in two languages (English and German)
* Language switching is handled in the frontend
* Backend should allow entering translations for:
* Product titles and descriptions
* SEO fields (meta title, meta tags)
* Category titles and descriptions
* Product Management:
* Fields: Title, Carpet ID, Display Code, Image, Quantity, Price, Category
* Actions: Edit, Delete
* Support for size and color variations
* Single Product Editor:
* Edit all product fields, add translations, and manage SEO
* Category Management:
* Title, Image, Description, SEO tags (with translations)
* Order Management:
* Order list includes: Order Number, Status (In Progress, Refunded, Completed, Canceled), Customer Info (Name, Email, Delivery & Invoice Addresses), Total Price, Quantity
* Single order view with full details, clickable products, status change, and option to send invoice via email
* Product Import:
* Import products using `.xlsx` file (sample will be provided)
* Homepage Management:
* Manage images and categories displayed on the homepage
3. Payment Integration
* Full integration with PayPal and Stripe
* API credentials will be provided
* Must connect to the order system and update statuses accordingly
4. Coupon System
* Ability to create and manage coupons
* Supports fixed amount and percentage discounts
* Includes options for usage limits and validity periods
5. Email & Invoice Handling
* Email notifications to the customer and admin after orders
* Attach PDF invoices to order emails
* We will provide SMTP credentials
Timeline & Budget
