We're revamping the platform to support self-service rentals with pickup/drop-off and two booking types: Standard (vendor-approved) and Instant (auto-confirmed). No driver is involved.
Key Changes:
Booking Flow: Unified flow with Instant + Standard booking. Customer picks up and returns the car.
Rental Mode: Switch to per-day pricing, vendor sets rate + security deposit.
Customer Registration: Add 3 fields + 2 uploads (ID & license). Admin approval required.
Vendor Registration: Add 2 file uploads.
Vehicle Listing: Add fields like Make/Model, Pickup location, Features, Policies, Delivery fee, Non-availability calendar, Min 2/Max 5 images, optional video.
Policies: Vendor sets 4 policies (Cancellation, Modification, Late Return, Deposit) – auto-applied to listings.
Calendar Feature: For vendors and admin to manage/view bookings and block dates manually.
Panels to update: User App, Vendor Panel, Admin Panel
