Money Box is an Australian-based fintech platform revolutionising the way people earn and grow their money. We combine cashback rewards with automated micro-investing, allowing users to earn cashback from 30,000+ retailers and invest that money into managed portfolios. Our platform includes a web portal, mobile apps, browser extension, and a powerful admin panel built on Zend Framework 1. We’re currently in final-stage development ahead of a Q4 2024 launch.
The Role:
We’re looking for a highly experienced Zend 1 developer to act as a backup and assistant to our lead developer. This is an on-call freelance role, with the potential to move into a full-time position post-launch.
You will be given 1 day to review and familiarise yourself with our Zend 1 codebase, after which you’ll begin working under the direction of our lead developer, supporting with tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
• Minimum 5 – 10 years experience in Zend Framework 1 (essential)
• Strong PHP skills and understanding of MVC architecture
• Ability to work with legacy code confidently and efficiently
• Fluent in written English and capable of taking clear instructions
• Comfortable working on-call and responding quickly when needed
• Reliable, independent, and team-oriented
