We are seeking a talented WordPress plugin developer to create a custom plugin for our eStore. The plugin will have three main functions:
Modify Original Prices: The plugin should take the original price of an imported product and add additional options to include delivery fee, duty fee, and a percentage profit to the final price per product or for entire category of same products. For instance, if the original price of a product is $100 USD, the plugin will add a delivery fee of $10 USD, a 20% duty fee, and a 10% profit margin, resulting in a final price of $145.20 USD.
Shipping Options: During checkout, the plugin will display international shipping options, allowing customers to select their preferred shipping method. The plugin will display the total cost, including the product price and shipping fees, before the customer makes a purchase.
Order Management: The plugin will have sections for Pending Orders, Processing Orders, Arrived Orders, and Fulfilled Orders. Customers will receive a receipt and a status update on their order, which will be initially labeled as Pending Orders. Once an admin purchases the item on behalf of the customer, the status of the order will change to Processing Orders, then Arrived Orders once the product reaches the destination country. Lastly, when the customer receives their order, the status will change to Fulfilled Orders. Customers can view their order status at any time.
The plugin will use Content Egg and External Importer Pro plugins to import the products, and WooCommerce and a sleek marketplace theme will be used for the eStore.
