Wordpress theme customisation

We are using WorkScout theme for WP Job Manager - I need a currency drop down when creating jobs, out of the box you can only have the site wide currency. The contents of the currency drop down should be configurable and be set via the WP Job Manager job manager page when creating a position and also be updatable via a bulk upload.
The site has filters, I will also need the currency added as a further filter. Anywhere the currency is reported the relevant currency should be displayed, not the side wide setting.
This will need to be done with child themes so updates don't cause issues.
