Wordpress plugin connecting js to php

with a really small wordpress plugin (learning project, not an actual professional plugin) where I have a button in js that triggers php functions. Because it's wordpress plugin, it seems to have its own jQuery.

Make the save function and the generate new key functions (php) work from buttons (js)
