Project Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Speed Optimization Expert to boost our website performance, improve Core Web Vitals, and ensure optimal loading speeds on both desktop and mobile.

Key Deliverables:

Achieve Core Web Vitals benchmarks:

LCP < 2.5s, FID < 100ms, CLS < 0.1

Google PageSpeed targets:

Desktop: 85+

Mobile: 50+

Optimize JS/CSS (minify, defer, async)

Compress images (WebP, AVIF)

Implement caching, lazy loading, CDN

Update & audit all plugins without breaking functionality

Resolve render-blocking & third-party script issues

Provide performance reports (PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse)

Database and hosting/server (Apache/Nginx) optimization

Support in WordPress site migration if required

Skills Required:

5+ years of WordPress performance optimization

Expert in WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, Cloudflare/CDNs

Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals & Lighthouse

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS optimization

Plugin audit & updates, database cleanup

Familiarity with hosting configs & server tuning
