Wordpress Polylang plugin troubleshoot

We are trying to make our Wordpress site bilingual (English Vs Greek) via the Polylang plugin. We are having some issues with things like menu showing up twice in both languages, can't find a way to translate tags and portfolio categories, links get broken etc. If someone has experience with Polylang implementation, we would love some guidance and help.
