Wordpress Email Issue on Google Cloud

I am currently experiencing a problem with my WordPress website. For some reason, it is not sending out password reset emails. I'm uncertain about whether it uses a custom email service or a third-party service to send these emails.

My website is hosted on Google Cloud, but I am not entirely certain whether this has any impact on the issue. Furthermore, I can't recall if my site involves any additional email functions other than password reset as that is not my main focus at the moment.

I'm looking for an experienced freelancer to assist me in diagnosing and resolving this issue. Ideally, you should have:
