We're seeking an experienced WordPress developer to design and implement a user-friendly website for our growing health-focused content business. The website will be similar to finimize.com, serving as a platform where we can publish daily summaries of podcasts and books. The site will have a free tier as well as a paid membership tier with access to premium research and bonus content.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a user-friendly, mobile responsive WordPress site.
Implement a system to publish daily content smoothly.
Create a paywall system allowing visitors to read 3 articles for free before needing to sign up for an account.
Develop a membership system with both free and paid levels, and their respective access levels.
Ensure the site is mobile responsive and optimized for speed.
Implement SEO and security plugins amongst others.
Collaborate with our team to understand and implement website requirements.
Test the site across different platforms and fix any issues.
Provide training to our team on using and managing the website.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress developer.
Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design work and projects.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience with paywall and membership systems.
Good understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and SEO principles.
Knowledge of website security is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
