WordPress Plugin Developer Needed for Custom Google Maps and WooCommerce Integration

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress plugin developer to create a custom plugin that integrates Google Maps and WooCommerce for our website. The primary function of the plugin is to allow website admins to draw polygons on Google Maps to define delivery zones. The plugin will then calculate the shipping cost based on whether a customer’s address falls within these polygons during checkout.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and Google Maps API.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Strong understanding of WordPress database operations.
• Prior experience with WooCommerce shipping settings is a plus.
Key Features:
1. Plugin Initialization:
• Create a main PHP file with standard WordPress plugin headers.
2. Admin Settings Page:
• Add a settings page in the WordPress admin area.
• Integrate Google Maps API on this page.
• Enable the drawing of polygons using Google Maps Drawing library.
3. Save Polygon Data:
• Use AJAX to save the polygon coordinates into the WordPress database.

• Provide inline comments for the code.
• Prepare a README file with installation and usage instructions.
