I am seeking a detail-oriented WordPress developer to streamline and finalize a professional website. The site is currently built on a feature-heavy premium theme and requires a significant "clean-up" to remove demo clutter and align the structure with a specific business roadmap.
The goal is to transition the site from a "template look" to a production-ready state by managing navigation, creating specific page shells, and syncing professional media from social platforms.
1. Structural Optimization & Menu Architecture:
Navigation Purge: Audit the current menu and remove all redundant demo links, multiple homepage versions, and unused archive paths.
Page Management: Hide specific advanced layout pages (Showcase and Performer modules) from the live site while keeping the backend accessible.
Shell Creation: Build out four clean, branded placeholder pages for: Talent Showcase, Schedule/Tour, Coming Soon, and Full Service details.
UI Cleanup: Remove redundant "Quick Contact" or duplicate call-to-action modules that conflict with the primary contact page.
2. Content Curation & Social Sync:
Professional Biography: Extract the updated bio from the official Facebook profile, format it for web standards, and update the "About" section.
Live Events Integration: Configure the theme’s existing event/gig module. You will be responsible for sourcing and inputting current event data from social media event tabs.
Multimedia Integration: Link the video section to the official YouTube channel and ensure the "Past Work" gallery is populated with legacy flyers and media assets.
3. Technical Connectivity & Final Polish:
Social Link Audit: Manually wire and test all social icons (FB, IG, YT, SoundCloud, Mixcloud) to ensure 100% connectivity.
Contact System: Update all contact forms and info pages with provided phone, email, and localized address details.
Shortcode Audit: Scan all pages for broken theme shortcodes or "ghost" text left over from the demo import.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience de-bloating complex WordPress themes.
- Ability to work independently to source and curate content from social media links.
- Strong eye for layout consistency and professional branding.
