Woocommerce WordPress Plugin - Exclude Specific Product(s) from Shipping Calculations

We have a need to exclude specific items from our FedEx shipping calculations. If the product is added to the cart, the cart's shipping totals should be calculated per the normal FedEx shipping table (we do not use flat rate shipping) for all products in the cart except those defined. The FedEx shipping calculations should exclude those products.
We need a simple plugin that we can define specific products to be excluded per the example above.
We have a separate plugin that calculates shipping separately for these products. This new plugin should not interfere with that plugin, nor should it interfere with the standard WooCommerce FedEx shipping calculation we are currently using.
