Woocommerce Snippets Code -- 2

This requirement for develope code for existing plug and add into snippets code section.
We are using Xero Integration with woocommerce - link of plugin as below.

Few months back plugin was working good, with lastest update they have removed one feature and we are looking add that using snippets code. This has suggested by plugin developer.
Issue : when order placed in WC (woocomemrce), its sync order to xero and generate invoice. There is filed in xero called "reference" was feeding this values from wc to xero, However with recent change WC no more passing this value, instead its using payment method name as reference.
Solution: develope snippets code, where its use purchase order filed (custom filed already created) as reference.
We use code snippets plugin so no need to amend any file in woocommerce.
