I urgently need a WooCommerce or a comparable platform expert and the primary objective of this project is to seamlessly integrate e-commerce functionality into an existing website using WooCommerce or a comparable platform. This enhancement aims to empower customers to explore our catalog of about 85 items, select their preferred items, input their South African address and contact details, and receive a comprehensive PDF quote. The quote generation process will factor in delivery costs based on the proximity of the customer's address to the nearest factory (2 locations in South Africa), determined through the Google Maps API distance calculator.
E-Commerce Implementation:
Platform Selection:
Opt for WooCommerce or a similar e-commerce platform compatible with existing WordPress and Elementor Pro website to facilitate a smooth integration process.
Shop as Catalogue:
Configure the website to operate predominantly as a catalogue, offering customers the opportunity to browse available item options without direct online purchasing capabilities.
Item Selection:
Implement a user-friendly interface allowing customers to effortlessly navigate through our range of Item options.
Provide intuitive features enabling customers to select their preferred Item.
Customer Information Collection:
Address Auto-Complete with Google Maps API:
Integrate address auto-complete functionality using the Google Maps API to streamline the address entry process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in capturing customers' complete addresses.
Contact Details Collection:
Include fields for customers to input their email addresses, telephone number, and any other pertinent contact information necessary for seamless communication, quote and Item delivery.
Additional Options:
Offer customers the flexibility to indicate whether they require a full installation or a Do It Yourself (DIY) kit for their selected Item.
For DIY Kit:
Provide customers with a quote for the selected Item, delivery costs, and a comprehensive DIY kit,
For Full Installation:
Clarify that we only perform installations within a 50 km radius of our 2 factory locations.
If customer is located outside 50 km radius, quote on behalf of the closest dedicated "Dealer" and send the quote with the dealer's information, including logo, address, and contact details, to the customer.
PDF Quote Generation:
Generate a comprehensive quote in PDF format that includes all selected item details, delivery costs, and additional options (DIY kit or full installation).
Ensure professional formatting and inclusion of all relevant information, and current quote format, for the customer's reference.
