We are an e-commerce company specializing in high-quality, culturally diverse products for children. We are looking for a highly skilled WooCommerce expert to help migrate our existing website to a new theme and plugin. The site must maintain a fun, playful, and colorful aesthetic while ensuring a clean and contemporary design that reflects our brand identity. The successful candidate must be experienced in WooCommerce theme migration, site optimization, and e-commerce functionality testing.
Project Requirements:
1. Theme and Plugin Setup:
- Implement the Botiga theme and Merchant plugin on our WooCommerce website. It will be purchased by us and provided to you.
- Set up the theme and plugin on a staging environment, ensuring all current products, pages, and functionality are smoothly integrated.
2. Customization:
Website Theme & Style:
- Customize the new theme to reflect our brand's identity, including colors, fonts, and layout preferences.
- Maintain a playful and vibrant aesthetic while ensuring the site is clean, modern, and user-friendly.
- We will provide a mood board to give you a sense of the desired design style.
Plugin:
- We are using the WooCommerce ATUM Multi-Location Inventory Management Plugin (https://stockmanagementlabs.com/) and need it to integrate smoothly with the Bright Plugin's Pre-Order Plugin (https://brightplugins.com/).
- The current setup for the pre-order plugin applies fields at the product level, but we need this functionality to be customized so it applies to each inventory location managed through the ATUM plugin.
- We need the multi-location inventory plugin reconfigured to ensure that inventory for an entire order is deducted from a single location only, instead of being spread across multiple locations.
3. Performance Optimization:
- Ensure the site is fully optimized for speed, including fast loading times and mobile responsiveness.
4. E-commerce Functionality:
- The website must retain and improve existing e-commerce functionality.
- Full testing is required to ensure smooth checkout flow, proper functioning of the cart, payment gateways, and a seamless user experience on both desktop and mobile.
5. SEO Migration:
- Ensure that all existing SEO elements (meta tags, alt text, URLs) are preserved during the migration.
6. Testing and Migration to Live Site:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of the new setup in the staging environment, including cross-browser and mobile testing.
- Once approved, migrate the website from staging to the live environment, ensuring minimal downtime.
