WooCommerce UX/UI Redesign and Theme Customization

We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce designer-developer to improve the design, usability, and visual quality of our existing website. The goal is to create a more modern, clean, and professional ecommerce experience while working within our current WooCommerce theme. We are not planning to change the theme at this time.

The selected freelancer must be able to both design and implement the improvements directly in WordPress / WooCommerce.

OBJECTIVES
• Improve overall visual quality and create a more modern look
• Improve usability and user experience
• Improve layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy
• Improve mobile experience
• Maintain full WooCommerce functionality
• Do not break existing SEO, URLs, or integrations

SCOPE OF WORK
1. Header and Navigation Improvements
Goals: improve usability, clarity, and modern appearance

Tasks may include:
• Improve header layout and spacing
• Improve logo positioning and size
• Improve navigation menu usability and styling
• Improve search bar visibility and usability
• Improve mobile menu layout
• Improve overall visual hierarchy

2. Product Page Improvements (High Priority)
Goals: improve clarity, usability, and conversion potential

Tasks may include:
• Improve product title, price, and Add to Cart section layout
• Improve spacing and alignment
• Improve visual hierarchy
• Improve product image gallery usability
• Improve trust elements layout (availability, shipping info, etc.)
• Improve mobile layout
• Make layout cleaner and easier to scan

3. Category Page Improvements
Goals: improve product browsing experience

Tasks may include:
• Improve product grid layout
• Improve spacing and alignment
• Improve product card design
• Improve filter and sorting usability
• Improve mobile layout

4. Homepage Improvements
Goals: improve overall structure and visual quality

Tasks may include:
• Improve spacing between sections
• Improve typography hierarchy
• Improve visual consistency
• Improve mobile responsiveness

5. Mobile Optimization
Goals: ensure excellent usability on mobile devices

Tasks may include:
• Fix spacing issues
• Improve button sizes and positioning
• Improve mobile layout consistency
• Improve navigation usability

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

All changes must be implemented directly in WordPress / WooCommerce.

Freelancer must:
• Work within the existing theme
• Not change the theme
• Not break WooCommerce functionality
• Not break checkout
• Not break existing URLs
• Not negatively affect SEO

Use proper methods such as:
• child theme customization
• CSS customization
• WooCommerce template overrides (if needed)
• WordPress best practices

Do not use hacks or quick fixes that may break future updates.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

The design should be:
• modern
• clean
• professional
• consistent
• optimized for ecommerce usability

Avoid outdated or cluttered layouts.

DELIVERABLES

• All changes implemented directly on staging site
• Fully functional WooCommerce website
• Fully responsive design
• Clean and maintainable code

Optional but preferred:
• Figma mockups before implementation (for key pages)

STAGING AND DEPLOYMENT

Work must be performed on staging site first.
Deployment to live site will happen only after approval.

FREELANCER REQUIREMENTS

Must have experience with:
• WooCommerce
• WordPress theme customization
• UX/UI for ecommerce
• responsive design

Please provide:
• examples of WooCommerce sites you improved
• links to live sites
• brief description of your role in those projects

The final result should look modern, professional, and significantly improved visually and functionally, while maintaining the current technical structure.
